SEASONAL FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

Old Vegetables(from september to april)

Parsnip, swede, chervil tubers, crosnes, helianthis were all known and understood by our ancestors.

Forgotten and passed from favor, they are now back on the scene for all to enjoy.

Here you will find a true taste of cabbage, there one of potato, an aroma of this, a flavour of that, all adding to the fun and creation of the dishes.

Do not be put off by their unusual form or appearance. Simply enjoy them as part of an unforgettable culinary experience.

Italian Specialities (from september to may)

Parallel to our traditional range we have also developed a range of Italian produce, that we are adding to each year as new and interesting products are introduced.

Thus, we were one of the first to introduce la rosa, a hybrid pale lettuce with red flecks, that is a wonderful decoration to any seafood platter.

You will also find speciality trevice, (or radicchios), like precoces (large oval), tardivo (spider) and castel franco, coeur de boeuf tomatoes, wonderful sweet cocktail tomatoes...
